Interested in Volunteering? Ask Your Questions of Members of the PA Executive Committee — Friday, March 4, After Flag
Whether you are interested in running for a volunteer position for the PA or not, we would love to meet and talk to you! Join us behind the Parents Association Room after flag (approx. 8:30-9:00 am) on Friday, March 4, for a PA Volunteer meet-and-greet. Members of this year’s Executive Committee will answer your questions about volunteer opportunities at Curtis. We cannot wait to get to know you!
LAST CALL! Parents Association 2022 Nominating Committee — INTEREST FORM
On Wednesday, March 2, the Voting Members of the PA will elect five members and two alternates from among the current 2021-22 Voting Members to serve on this year’s Nominating Committee. The 2022 Nominating Committee will meet on Thursday, April 14, to elect next school year’s 2022-23 PA Executive Committee. The Nominating Committee consists of ten people: five voting members elected from the 2021-22 Voting Members of the PA, one holdover from the 2021 Nominating Committee (appointed by the Immediate Past President), three non-voting members chosen by the PA President, and the Immediate Past President (who serves as the non-voting chairperson).
Please CLICK HERE to self-nominate or to nominate a current PA Voting Member to be considered for the 2022 Nominating Committee. All names must be submitted by Monday, February 28, at 12:00 pm (noon).
Please note that if you accept a position on the Nominating Committee, you relinquish the option to run for the 2022-23 Executive Committee, which includes PA President, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th VPs, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, and/or Treasurer. Please do NOT nominate yourself or anyone else you know who is planning to apply for a 2022-23 PA Executive Committee position. If a current Voting Member’s name is missing from the drop-down list of name options, that person has likely indicated their intention to run for a position on the 2022-23 Executive Committee. Additionally, you CANNOT serve on the Nominating Committee for more than two consecutive years.
