Kwame Alexander is a poet, educator, and the New York Times Bestselling author of 35 books, including Caldecott-medal and Newbery Honor-winning picture book, THE UNDEFEATED, illustrated by Kadir Nelson, the NEWBERY medal-winning novel, THE CROSSOVER, BOOKED, a NATIONAL BOOK AWARD Nominee, and the novel BECOMING MUHAMMAD ALI, which he co-authored with James Patterson.
He lives in the UK where he is the writer-in-residence at the American School in London.
