Curtis School, in partnership with TeachAAPI, is excited to welcome author Helena Ku Rhee in connection with Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month on Thursday, May 18 from 8:30-9:30 am in the von Furstenberg Auditorium. A children’s book author, she will be addressing ways to ignite the love of reading, representation in children's literature, and what it's like to be an author of diverse books. Helena will also discuss the challenges diverse authors face given the climate of book bans around the country and the importance of allyship. We encourage everyone to join us for this special event!
In addition, our partners at TeachAAPI would like to invite all to an AAPI Month Calendar of Events.
